By Rajesh Saha: The Enforcement Directorate and the Income Tax department completed 30-hour raids at the office and residence of rebel BJP MLA Krishna Kalyani on Thursday.
Kalyani, who contested on BJP’s ticket from Raiganj constituency in the 2021 state Assembly election, later switched to the TMC. He has been facing the heat after some of his company’s business transactions came under the scanner of the central probe agencies.

The team of central probe agencies entered his house at yesterday morning and left at about 5 pm this afternoon.
Krishna Kalyani’s brother Pradeep Kalyani alleged that the central probe agencies were doing this work with political motives.
