Alia Bhatt shared that she had a conversation with Priyanka Chopra while getting ready for her debut walk at the MET Gala 2023. Priyanka Chopra, who attended the event with her husband Nick Jonas, promised to be there for Alia once she was inside the museum for the big night. Alia said, “The thing is again, I am so socially awkward and shy. It’s very strange how I am an actor and I’m like literally in the movie business that requires you to be, you know, centre stage, spotlight, being like whatever. Priyanka and I were talking about it yesterday. She’s like ‘You get in, and you find us’. And I am like ‘Okay, definitely because you’re gonna have to take me to the bathroom. I’m not gonna be able to go myself.’”
Vogue had shared an official video showcasing Alia Bhatt’s Met Gala debut. Alia’s dress, designed by Prabal Gurung, was a stunning white ball gown adorned with 100,000 pearls. The dress was a fitting tribute to the late designer Karl Lagerfeld, in keeping with the theme of the Met Gala 2023, ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty.’
