No film should be banned after it has got its due certificate: Shabana Azmi on ban on ‘The Kerala Story’

In an exclusive interview with India Today, veteran actress Shabana Azmi said no film should be banned after it has got its due certificate. 

Talking about ban imposed by Bengal govt on The Kerala Story, she said, “I don’t think any film should be banned after it has got its due certificate.”

Earlier in the day, West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee said the decision to ban The Kerala Story has been taken to “maintain peace” in the state and avoid violence.
