By India Today News Desk: Five people were killed after a state transport (ST) bus ran over them, after it was hit by a speeding private bus in Gujarat’s Gandhinagar district on Wednesday morning, police said.
The accident took place in Kalol town at around 7.30 am where some passengers were waiting for a bus.
The passengers were mowed down by the ST bus, which was hit by a speeding private luxury bus from behind, an official from Kalol police station said, reported PTI.
Five people were killed and at least seven people were injured who were taken to a government hospital for treatment.
The bodies were also sent to the hospital for post-mortem.
