By India Today News Desk: A woman sub-inspector of Assam Police, who was entangled in various controversies, lost her life after her private car collided with a container truck in Nagaon district, officials said.
The accident occurred early on Tuesday at Sarubhugia village under Jakhalabandha police station of Kaliabor Sub-Division, news agency PTI reported.
The deceased, Junmoni Rabha, popularly known as ‘Lady Singham’ or ‘Dabangg cop’, named after the two popular Bollywood films, was not wearing her uniform and alone in her car at the time of the accident.
