Women file police complaint against dog for tearing poster of Andhra CM

By Apoorva Jayachandran : In a completely unheard-of incident, a group of women filed a police complaint against a dog after its video of tearing up the poster of Andhra Pradesh CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy went viral on social media.

The incident took place in Vijayawada. Dasari Udayasree, said to be a worker of the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP), sarcastically lodged a complaint with the police. She, along with some other women, demanded that action be taken against the dog and those behind it for insulting the chief minister.

In what seems to be a sarcastic video, hitting out at Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) chief and AP CM Jagan Mohan Reddy, the woman puts forward her complaint.

“We have requested the police to arrest the dog and those behind the dog who insulted our beloved chief minister,” Deccan Herald quoted her IANS statement.

Earlier, a video showing a dog ripping a sticker featuring Jagan Mohan Reddy’s photo had become widely circulated. The sticker bore the slogan “Jagananna Maa Bhavishyathu” (Jagan anna our future) and had been affixed to a house as part of the ongoing state-wide survey conducted by the ruling YSR Congress Party (YSRCP).
