By Apoorva Jayachandran : A pregnant woman, who was reportedly kicked by her husband in Tamil Nadu’s Mayiladuthurai district, was rushed to hospital by good Samaritans. A video, doing rounds on social media, shows a group of people rescuing the woman and taking her to the hospital.
The incident took place on Saturday when a man was seen yelling at his pregnant wife outside a medical centre. The woman was sitting on the staircase. The angry man kicked his pregnant wife in the stomach, after which she fell on the ground.

The husband immediately left the spot as he saw the onlookers were getting angry with him. A few people called an ambulance and sent the woman to the Mayilduthurai Government Hospital.
Her husband came to the hospital after her check-up to patch things up, but he was questioned by the public about his actions. However, his wife came to his rescue and asked the people not to interfere in their personal matter.
