By Aamir Khan: Samajwadi Party leader Azam Khan’s health deteriorated and he was admitted to Sir Ganga Ram Hospital in Delhi early Monday morning.
According to sources, Azam Khan’s health deteriorated after iftar last evening and he was admitted to the hospital around 3am.
Doctors said Azam Khan’s condition is stable and he is under observation.
Last year, Samajwadi Party MLA Azam Khan was admitted to Medanta Hospital after he complained of breathlessness and was diagnosed with pneumonia.
The Rampur MLA, who had spent 27 months in Sitapur jail in an alleged forgery case, had battled with illness during his time in prison. Azam Khan has since been granted regular bail by a local court in Uttar Pradesh in the case.
