Former Union minister and senior advocate Kapil Sibal has called for a Supreme Court-monitored probe into the killing of Atiq Ahmad and his brother Ashraf.
Kapil Sibal said, “This has to be directly monitored by the Supreme Court. I think the time has come for the Supreme Court to lay down the rules.
Atiq Ahmed and his brother Khalid Azeem alias Ashraf were shot dead at point-blank range by three men posing as journalists in the middle of a media interaction on Saturday night while being escorted by police personnel to a medical college in Prayagraj for a checkup.
