Cloth left in Telangana woman’s body during C-section, removed 16 months later

By Abdul Basheer: Doctors at a private hospital in Telangana’s Jagtial town removed a piece of cloth from a woman’s abdomen which was left inside her body when she underwent a cesarean delivery at a government hospital.

According to sources, the woman, Navya Sri, who underwent cesarean delivery at a government hospital in December 2021, complained of severe abdominal pain a few days ago.

When she went for a check-up at a private hospital, doctors found a tumour-like growth in her abdomen.

During surgery, doctors realised that it was a huge piece of cloth and not a tumour. They carefully pulled out the large piece of cloth, saving the woman’s life.
