By Apoorva Jayachandran : The Secunderabad Police have arrested 12 people who were allegedly betting on an IPL match.
Police said the 12 arrested belonged to two different groups. The incident took place in the jurisdiction of Pet Bashirabad police station in Secunderabad.
Police have seized Rs 50 lakhs in cash, eight laptops, one ipad, 63 cell phones, four TV sets, five line boards and four cars.
A case has been registered against the accused at Pet Bashirabad police station and they have been remanded in police custody.
