By Banbir Singh: Guddu Muslim, an accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, used to kill his aides and was known for his deceitful nature, revealed gangsters who were associated with him earlier.
Randhir Singh Lalla, who was an aide of infamous don Abhay Singh from Ayodhya, spilled the beans on how Guddu Muslim used to murder his aides and get away every time.
GUDDU MUSLIM’S FRIENDSHIP WITH GANGSTER SANTOSH SINGH
“In 1996-97, Guddu Muslim was seen a lot in Sarairasi village adjacent to Ayodhya. The reason was his friendship with Santosh Singh, who was a gangster. Santosh was a resident of Sarairasi village. He had a Maruti car and a rifle and Guddu Muslim used to travel with Santosh in his car,” Randhir Singh told India Today.
HAD TIES WITH HISTORY-SHEETER, KILLED LATER
He said that Guddu Muslim was in contact with the mafia in Ambedkar Nagar. He also knew a history-sheeter named Satyendra Singh Langad, who had enmity with the mafiamen in Ambedkar Nagar.
Randhir Singh said that Guddu Muslim left Ambedkar Nagar in Satyendra’s car and got down near Sarairasi village. He then sat in Santosh’s car, which was parked ahead of Satyendra’s vehicle.
“Suddenly, a history-sheeter named Sriprakash Shukla attacked Satyendra Singh and killed him. Guddu Muslim fled the spot,” gangster Randhir Singh said.

MURDERED HIS AIDE SANTOSH SINGH
There are allegations that Guddu Muslim was an informer to track Satyendra Singh. Later, Guddu Muslim also betrayed Santosh and killed him by lacing his drink with poison and again vanished into thin air.
People close to gangster Abhay Singh say that he broke ranks with Guddu Muslim following the killing of Santosh Singh. The gangster Randhir Singh revealed that Santosh Singh was a resident of Abhay Singh’s village.
“Abhay Singh had sensed that something wrong would happen to Santosh Singh and had asked Guddu Muslim not to kill the latter,” he said.
GUDDU MUSLIM ABSCONDING AFTER ATIQ AHMED’S MURDER
Guddu Muslim is one of the ten people named in the murder of Umesh Pal, the witness to the 2005 killing of BSP MLA Raju Pal, in which Atiq was an accused. Of the ten, six — Atiq and five others linked to him — have been killed and Guddu Muslim has managed to evade authorities so far.
Guddu Muslim, whose name propped up in the shooting that killed Atiq and his brother Ashraf in Prayagraj on April 15, was the most dangerous criminal from Atiq’s gang, according to the chief of the Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force (STF) Amitabh Yash.

Atiq and his brother Ashraf were speaking to the media outside a hospital in Prayagraj where they were brought for a late-night medical check-up, when they were shot dead at point-blank range by three men who posed as journalists.
“Main baat yeh hai ki Guddu Muslim… (the main point is that Guddu Muslim…),” were Ashraf’s last words before he and his brother Atiq were pumped with bullets.
GUDDU MUSLIM: THE BOMB SPECIALIST
Guddu Muslim prefers hurling bombs, instead of using guns, to kill people. He had been working with Atiq Ahmed since the gangster-politician bailed him out of jail.
Known to the police as the ‘bomb specialist’, Guddu Muslim, in a widely circulated video of the daylight murder of Umesh Pal this February, was seen throwing crude bombs while riding a pillion on a motorcycle. The video led to his naming in the FIR.
According to the police, Guddu Muslim’s last known location was in Karnataka.
