By Abdul Basheer: A one-and-a-half-year-old girl died after being attacked by stray dogs on Friday in Mettavalsa village, located in the G. Sigadum Mandal area of the Srikakulam district in Andhra Pradesh.
The incident took place on Friday around 7:45 pm. Satvika (18 months) was attacked by stray dogs while she was playing in front of the house where her mother worked as a maid.

She was rushed to Rajam Government Hospital by relatives after the incident where after first aid, she was taken to Srikakulam Government Hospital.
Despite the best efforts of the medical staff, the minor could not be saved. The family is devastated by the loss and has been inconsolable over the child’s death.
A case has been registered. Further investigation is underway.
