On Day 5 of the same-sex marriage pleas by the Supreme Court Constitution Bench, the Centre said the question of granting equal rights to marry should be left to Parliament to decide.
Appearing for the Centre, Solicitor General Tushar Mehta reiterated that the court was dealing with a very complex subject that has a profound social impact.
