The move will facilitate treatment for seriously ill by connecting higher medical centres located in different states. The air ambulance would be made available at a competitive price to all .
According to officials, the ambulance will be ready within two hours of booking and it will be equipped with emergency equipment and doctors.
AIR AMBULANCE SERVICE: PRICE, OTHER DETAILS
The Aviation Department has collaborated with Red Bed Private Limited to offer a new avenue for individuals seeking access to better medical care centers and need to fly to cities such as Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Varanasi, and Kolkata. Apart from Ranchi, patients in Dhanbad, Deoghar, Giridih, Jamshedpur, Bokaro, and Dumka can now utilize air ambulance services for serious medical emergencies.
The well-equipped medical air ambulance service to Delhi is available at a cost of Rs 5 lakh, while for Mumbai, the expenditure is likely to be around Rs 7 lakh. Similarly, for Chennai, the rate has been fixed at Rs 8 lakh, and for Kolkata, it is Rs 3 lakh. Patients flying to Hyderabad can avail the service at Rs 7 lakh, while those flying to Tirupati, located near Vellore, will have to shell out Rs 8 lakh. Additionally, air ambulance services to Varanasi and Lucknow will cost Rs 3.3 lakh and Rs 5 lakh, respectively.
