By Anirban Sinha Roy: Bharatiya Janata Party MLA Shankar Ghosh, who allegedly received death threats on Twitter, lodged a complaint at the Siliguri police station on Saturday.
A few days ago, Shankar Ghosh shared a post on Twitter condemning the incident that took place in West Bengal’s Kaliaganj area. In that post, a person threatened the MLA, said Shankar Ghosh in his complaint.

On Twitter, the person wrote, “You all are liars, you all love to create clashes. You should be arrested and killed.”
After lodging his complaint, Shankar Ghosh said, “I can feel that I am not safe. In Siliguri, like a simple man, I have roamed around on a bike or scooter, but now I feel I can be murdered anytime.”
“They are giving me death threats. The Twitter handle that threatened me is quite clear on its stand. The account represents the TMC party. So, the man who has threatened me is from the Trinamool Congress,” added BJP MLA Shankar Ghosh.
