By Jitendra Bahadur Singh, Arvind Ojha: The Canadian government has put Satinderjit Singh Brar alias Goldy Brar on the list of the top 25 most wanted persons.
Goldy Brar, the alleged mastermind behind the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala, is 15th on the list released by the Canadian government under its BOLO (Be on the Lookout) programme.
“INTERPOL-Ottawa’s Fugitive Apprehension Support Team (FAST) has added fugitive Satinderjit Singh ‘Goldy’ Brar as the latest addition to the Top 25 list,” said Canadian High Commission in Delhi.
The government has also announced a reward of Rs 1.5 crore on any tip-off leading to his arrest.

Programme Director of BOLO, Max Langlois, released the pictures of all 25 people and said that those who assist in their arrest will be rewarded between 50,000 dollars and 250,000 dollars, which roughly converts to Rs 1.5 crore.
“Brar is the subject of a Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) investigation into the allegations originating from India. The offences committed in India are very serious in nature and merit the interest of police in Canada,” said the high commission.
“Brar is believed to be in Canada and represents a risk to public safety. He is currently under investigation but is not charged with any criminal offences in Canada,” it added.
Notorious gangster Goldy Brar, who carried out the murder of Punjabi singer and Congress leader Sidhu Moose Wala, is a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and had claimed responsibility for the murder.
