Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone shared some exclusive pictures on her social media account from the night of Oscars. She presented the Best Original Song Award to composer M.M. Keeravaani and lyricist Chandrabose at the 95th Academy Awards.

On Monday, Deepika took to Instagram and shared BTS pictures from the Oscars 2023 night. The backstage images shared by Deepika on her social media platform showed her in her stunning black gown as she prepared for her introduction speech at the Oscars 2023. One of the pictures captured her closing her eyes, perhaps to focus and calm herself before going on stage. Another picture showed her looking over her notes one final time, ensuring that she is well-prepared for the moment. Sharing the pictures, she wrote in caption, “And the rest is history…#oscars @theacademy.”
As soon as she shared the pictures, fans showered their love for the actress in the comments section. Reacting to the picture, a fan commented “You will be always remember as ONE OF THE GREATEST ACTRESS OF INDIAN CINEMA !! You’ve achieved everything in your life, I don’t think any other Indian actress did this!! You’re superior my darling!! Lots of love!!!!!”, another user wrote, “You are the queen of Indian Cinema.”
Deepika had said in her speech at the Academy Awards while introducing ‘Naatu Naatu’, “An irresistibly catchy chorus, electrifying beats and killer dance moves to match have made this song a global sensation. It plays during a pivotal scene in ‘RRR’, a movie about the friendship between real-life Indian revolutionaries Alluri Sitarama Raju and Komaram Bheem. In addition to being sung in Telugu and illustrating the film’s anti-colonialist themes, it’s also a total banger!”
She further added, “It’s earned millions of views on Youtube and Tik Tok. Has audiences dancing in movie theatres all around the world and is also the first song ever from Indian production to be nominated for an Oscar. Do you know Naatu? Because if you don’t you’re about to. From the film RRR this is ‘Naatu Naatu’.”
On the work front, Deepika Padukone has an array of line-ups. The actress recently starred in Pathaan with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham. She now has Fighter with Hrithik Roshan and Siddharth Anand; Singham Again with Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn and Project K with Prabhas and Amitabh Bachchan and Draupadi.
