By Rittick Mondal: The Calcutta High Court has ordered a second post-mortem examination of the body of slain BJP worker Vijaykrishna Bhuiya.

Justice Rajashekhar Mantha on Wednesday ordered that the post-mortem will be conducted at the Command Hospital in Kolkata.

The hospital will form a special team and conduct the autopsy in the presence of two state forensic experts. The court said the family could be present during the autopsy.

The high court also directed the autopsy to be videographed. The Command Hospital will give the post-mortem report to the family and the police station.

The judge said that the family should be shown the body kept in the Tamluk Hospital before bringing it to Kolkata under the security of state police.

The high court has placed the family under the protection of central forces for four weeks and asked the State to submit a report on the incident by Monday.

Vijay Krishna Bhuiya was found dead at Moyna in West Bengal’s East Midnapore district on Monday.

His family discovered his body in a pool of blood on the same day at midnight after he was allegedly picked up by some miscreants.

The BJP said he was the party’s booth president and alleged that TMC-backed goons killed him.
