Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut recently revealed that she misses the time when Aamir Khan was her “best friend” before the feud with Hrithik Roshan. Kangana shared an Instagram post and expressed her nostalgia for the good old days. The throwback video featured a clip from Aamir Khan’s show Satyamev Jayate.

In the video, Kangana Ranaut, Deepika Padukone and Parineeti Chopra had appeared in the talk show. While discussing the mainstream Hindi films, especially the treatment of women characters and objectifying female characters in item songs. Instagramming the story while sharing the Insta post, she wrote, “actually mujhe bhi kabhi kabhi woh din yaad aate hain jab Aamir sir was my best friend… jaane kahan gaye woh din (Sometimes I recall the time when Aamir Sir was my best friend… I don’t know where those days have gone).”
The Queen actress further added, “One thing is for sure that he has mentored me, appreciated me, and shaped a lot of my choices before Hrithik did that legal case on me. Post that they made their loyalties clear – it was one woman against the entire industry.”
For the unversed, After appearing in Kites (2010) and Krrish 3 (2013), Hrithik Roshan and Kangana Ranaut were rumoured to have had an affair that began during the filming of Krrish 3. The rumours intensified in 2013 when Hrithik and his wife Sussane Khan separated, with Kangana being cited as the reason behind their split.
However, in early 2016, rumours circulated that Hrithik had removed Kangana from the cast of Aashiqui 3. When asked about this in an interview, Kangana commented, “Yes, many lame rumours are doing rounds; even a dumb ass can tell where these rumours are coming from. I don’t know why exes do silly things to get your attention. For me, that chapter is over and I don’t dig graves.”
Following this, Hrithik responded vehemently on Twitter, stating that he would rather date the Pope than any of the women that the media had been associating him with. Subsequently, he served Kangana a notice, demanding that she apologize for tarnishing his reputation. In the notice, Hrithik also demanded that Kangana apologises in a press conference and clear the air about their alleged affair.
