Veteran actress Soni Razdan and director Mahesh Bhatt celebrated their 37th anniversary today. As she wrote him a nice note to wish him on his anniversary, the seasoned actor shared their beautiful picture on Instagram. With her most recent post, Soni also spoke about how she met Mahesh.

Soni Razdan posted a picture of Mahesh Bhatt and her dressed to the nines for Alia’s wedding. Her director husband was dressed in a cream kurta pyjama combination in the throwback photograph taken inside their home. She was wearing a white and red printed saree with a green floral shirt and a big necklace. Sharing the picture, she wrote in caption, “The story of US : One day out of the blue I got a call from a friend who wanted me to meet a man called Mahesh Bhatt … acha chodo ab… bahut lambi kahani bai. Phir kabhi. Main point yeh hai ki we met, fell in love at some point and here we are many moons later. Happy Anniversary baby. We really have come a long way !”
Soon after she shared the post, fans and industry friends poured their love for the actress in the comments section. Reacting to the picture, a follower commented, “Happy Anniversary to the Both of you… have a great one with Glorious innings still ahead… InshaAllah,” while another user wrote, “I haven’t met Mahesh saab, but I am a huge admirer of his work. My meetings with you during SOP shooting elevated my respect for you, not only as an amazing actor, but also as a genuinely caring person. Both of you have wonderful chemistry and glad to see you celebrating your anniversary with love. Congratulations!”
Mahesh Bhatt was earlier married to Lorraine Bright (later changed her name to Kiran Bhatt). After getting married in 1968, they welcomed their daughter Pooja Bhatt four years later. When he and Lorraine split up in the 1970s, Mahesh Bhatt’s name was associated with the late actor Parveen Babi.
