Women’s Day: Tips to take care of the precious women in your lives

Happy Women’s Day to the ladies reading this blog. And for the men reading this blog, happy women’s day to all the precious women in your life. Even though there is no denying that we should celebrate the women in our lives every day, however, today marks the day specially dedicated to acknowledging and celebrating those women who we hold dear. It could be anyone, your partner, mother, guardian, friend, or anyone you respect and thank with all your heart. 

So, what would you do to celebrate those women? Perhaps wish them a Happy Women’s Day?  Yes, that’s good, but how about doing something more? Something to tell them that you are blessed to have them in your life. 

Well, we have a few ideas as to what could be the perfect ways to thank those special women in your life. Along with that, dear ladies, you could also use these ways to celebrate yourself. After all, why should we depend on others to celebrate ourselves? You could do that too.

Write them/yourself a letter 

These days, it is too easy to write a mail or message wishing someone. What is rare and difficult is writing them a letter. A little old school but you might as well agree old school ways are thoughtful. 

So, start by writing them a note or letter. Feel free to pour your heart out. Whatever it is you want to say to them, the paper is right there on the desk. Write away.

Write everything you would want others to say to yourself. You could also write a letter to your future self, sharing some words of inspiration, motivation or encouragement.

Cook them/ yourself  healthy meals 

Health is wealth, remember? So this women’s day, how about you cook special healthy meals for your special women? Getting a takeout is just another easy option, go the extra mile and cook healthy home cooked meals for them. Think about their home-cooked favourites, prepare a grocery list and get started. Home cooked meals are healthier and thoughtful, and a nice way to say you care about their health and happiness and just want to thank them with this lovely gesture. 

For you dear ladies, 

Let this be one of the ways you pamper yourself. Think of something you’d like to eat, your favourites of course. If you wouldn’t like to cook it yourself, feel free to order it online. You can  just sit back and relax. 

Gift them/ yourself a journal 

Yes, we did say gifting material objects is too mainstream. But a journal is an exception. Just so you know, journaling is good for mental health. It can be a thoughtful way of indicating that the women in your life should prioritise their mental health. 

For you dear ladies, 

It’s a good day to gift yourself a journal. Venting is necessary for a peaceful mind, journaling can help you do that by letting your feelings out on paper. So, gift yourself a journal and get ready for a healthy catharsis.
