By Abdul Basheer: A six-year-old boy died after falling into an open drain on Jubilee Hills Road in Hyderabad on Tuesday morning. Police have sent the body for a post-mortem at Osmania Hospital.

According to the police, on Tuesday around 11 am, the boy was playing with other children in a private open plot adjacent to the building where his father worked as a guard.
Police said Vivekanand went to get a stick from the northeast corner of a plot, where there was an open well, filled with water from recent rains.
Police said the boy slipped and fell into the well and drowned.

A case has been registered and the body recovered from the well. Further investigation is underway.
