Bihar Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar’s car got stuck in mud in Ara district. Following the incident, all officials, including the Bhojpur DM and SP present at the scene, were seen trying to extricate the governor’s vehicle from the mud. After much difficulty, the governor was rescued in a police jeep. The people present at the scene made a video of the incident and it went viral on social media.
The incident took place in Labhuani village in the Gadhani block of Ara on Sunday, where a six-day religious convention and Lakshmi Narayan Mahayagya had been organised since April 28, in which Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar was scheduled to participate as the chief guest. However, suddenly there was a change in the weather, and the venue of the event was hit by strong winds and rain, causing the area to flood and become muddy.
