A thief in Jharkhand’s central Dhanbad area was thrashed and forced to strip down when caught by the owner of the bike he tried to steal. The bike owner went inside the Co-operative Bank in Bokaro, near the Chas Police Station, to deliver some letters. When he came out, he found his bike missing.
The owner had the keys to the bike with him and was sure that the thief wouldn’t have gone far. And he was right. The thief was seen pushing the bike under a bridge nearby.
The bike owner gathered a few people nearby and caught hold of the thief. They thrashed the thief, made him strip and ran away. The man was later found naked by the police, hiding behind a bush. The police gave him some clothes, dressed him up and took him to the police station. But he was not arrested as the bike owner did not file a complaint.
