By Sumi Rajappan: Congress MLA Vikram Mandavi’s convoy was attacked by Naxals in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district on Tuesday, according to the sources.
Naxalites also fired at the district panchayat official Parvati Kashyap’s vehicle, which was part of the MLA’s convoy. They were returning after attending a public gathering.
Nobody has been reportedly injured in the incident.
There have been several instances of Naxals targetting MLAs and other political leaders in Chhattisgarh.
