By Santosh Kumar Sharma: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Saturday summoned senior officials of UP Police, including director general of police (DGP) and additional director general of police (ADGP), for a meeting soon after gangster-turned-politician Atiq Ahmed and his brother Ashraf were killed by unidentified assailants amid tight police security in Prayagraj.
The meeting is taking place at CM Yogi’s residence in Lucknow. According to sources, the chief minister is upset about the unprecedented killing of Atiq and Ashraf amid tight police security.
GDP RK Vishwakarma briefed the chief minister about the incident.
