Congress leaders extend support to wrestlers, join protest at Jantar Mantar

Congress leaders Harish Rawat, Bhupender Singh Hooda, Navjot Singh Sidhu extended their support to the protesting wrestlers and joined their protest at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar. Wrestlers have been protesting against WFI chief and BJP leader Brij Bhushan Singh. Singh alleged that a “conspiracy” has been hatched by Congress and wrestler Bajrang Punia against him. He termed the demonstrations as politically motivated and said that wrestlers were stooges of Congress who did not merely seek his resignation.
