By Abdul Basheer: Police tightened security in and around the Tirumala Temple in Andhra Pradesh’s Tirupati district after receiving an email about terrorist movement inside the temple. This created panic among people. However, the investigation revealed it was a fake email.
Police said they received an email claiming that a terrorist was inside the Tirumala Temple.

SP Parameshwar Reddy said the police were informed about the presence of terrorists in Tirumala through an email from unidentified people.
“We immediately began inspection and an alert was issued by the police in Tirumala,” he said.

Police breathed a sigh of relief when it was finally revealed that it was a fake email.
“There is no terrorist movement in Tirumala,” the SP confirmed.
