By Ankit Sharma: A case was registered against Saket Bahuguna, son of former Uttarakhand Chief Minister Vijay Bahuguna, and 17 other executives of financial services company Indiabulls based on a complaint by the Shirpa group.
The Shirpa group in its complaint at Ghaziabad’s Indirapuram police station had accused Indiabulls, with which it had a loan agreement, of usurping its properties, including the flagship Shirpa Mall in Indirapuram.

The group has accused the directors and senior officials of Indiabulls of cheating, forgery, illegal intrusion, assault, preparing fake documents, and conspiring to commit a fraud worth Rs 6,000 crore.
Swatantra Singh, ACP Indirapuram, stated that there is an allegation of fraud to the tune of thousands of crore and therefore the investigation will be done by the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) or other investigation agencies.
