By India Today News Desk: Kerala’s first transgender bodybuilder Praveen Nath allegedly committed suicide in Thrissur on Thursday, police said.
Nath, who was in his late 20s, reportedly took his own life by ingesting poison at his suburban home on Thursday afternoon, police said.

His body has been taken to the Government Medical College Hospital, they said.
Earlier this year, on Valentine’s Day, Nath had married his transgender partner on Valentine’s Day, but he was apparently anxious about some online media reports that claimed their relationship was strained.

However, Nath had refuted those reports.
