By Shilpa Nair: Tamil Nadu Finance Minister Palanivel Thiaga Rajan (PTR) on Saturday termed as fabricated an unverified audio clip doing rounds on social media in which the DMK leader is heard talking about the assets of MK Stalin’s son Udhayanidhi Stalin and V Sabareesan, the CM’s son-in-law.
BJP state president K Annamalai had shared the audio on Twitter saying, “In a conversation with a journalist, TN State Finance Minister reveals that TN CM’s son Udhayanidhi and son-in-law Sabareesan have accumulated RS 30,000 crores in a year. With every passing day, these substantiate the claims made by us in DMK Files.”

Breaking his silence on the audio clip widely shared by the Tamil Nadu unit of the BJP, PTR said the audio clip was fabricated.
PTR also asked the media to report only on first-hand information or authenticated second-hand info from known sources.
“Whatever I am, and whatever I have done in public life is because of DMK president and CM MK Stalin. No malicious attempt to divide us will succeed,” the minister said.
