By India Today News Desk: Union Home Minister Amit Shah shared a tweet by the BJP’s Karnataka unit, in which a man is seen wiping water from cutouts of Prime Minister Narendra Modi after it rained during a rally in the state’s Devanahalli.
“The unwavering trust in PM Narendra Modi ji and the selfless affection for him is what the BJP has earned and it is its source of strength. Have a look at this beautiful video from Devanahalli, Karnataka,” Shah wrote.
The man was seen walking along a street lined with life-size cutouts of PM Modi and wiping off the rain water from them with a cloth he used to cover his head.

“The people of the country consider Prime Minister Narendra Modi as their family. In the political history of the country, there is no other personality who deserves love and respect. Before the party’s road show to be held in Devanahalli today, a rare sight was seen when it rained,” the state’s BJP unit tweeted in Kannada.
Amit Shah was in the state for the roadshow in Devanahalli today as the saffron party campaigns hard for the May 10 assembly elections in the state. This is his first visit to the state after the announcement of the poll schedule on March 29.
During his two-day visit, Amit Shah is scheduled to chair several meetings, meet senior party officials and take stock of the election preparations.
