An 11-year-old boy was attacked by a man in Basmat city, Maharashtra.
The child, Pranav Magar, was walking down the street near the Bank colony area, when a man crept up from behind and hit the boy with a stone. The boy immediately fell on the street and the accused ran away from the scene.
It is said, the man is deranged.
The child has been admitted to a hospital in Nanded and is undergoing treatment.
