Five Army personnel were killed in a terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch on Thursday. Here’s all that has happened so far:
– The Army vehicle was moving between Bhimber Gali and Poonch in the Rajauri sector when it was fired on by terrorists. The Army said the vehicle caught fire because of likely use of grenades.
– Security forces have launched a massive search operation in the dense forests of the Bata-Doriya area following the attack
– Officials said that a high alert has been sounded in Rajouri and Poonch amid close vigil along the Line of Control. Traffic on the Bhimber Gali-Poonch road was stopped following the incident and people have been advised to go to Poonch via Mendhar, they said.
– An NIA team visited the site of the terror attack for inspection on Friday
