By Jaykishan Sharma: A Rajasthan man, caught in a honeytrap laid down by Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), gave away confidential information about India’s defence forces to Pakistan’s spy agency. The ISI link was exposed by the intelligence wing of the Rajasthan Police, under Operation Sarhad, who took the man into custody.
According to the police, the accused, a resident of Udaipur, leaked information from confidential documents inside Delhi’s Sena Bhawan.

Ravi Prakash Meena, who was posted in Delhi’s Sena Bhawan since 2015, told the police that he met two girls — who identified themselves as Isha Bansal and Mridula Verma — on Facebook in 2020.
Ravi Meena established contact with both the girls over the next few months, totally unaware that they were ISI agents. The girls also offered to marry him at different periods, police said.
Firmly caught in the honeytrap, Ravi Meena began sending photographs of confidential documents from his department. In a confession to police, he admitted to having shared at least 40 letters with Isha that contained confidential defence information. Similarly, he leaked defence info to Mridula as well.
Apart from Ravi Meena, a minor was also detained under Operation Sarhad.
According to the police, the second accused, a Class 6 student, revealed that he had gone to Pakistan several times to meet his brother, sister, and other relatives. On one of his trips, he met a person named Khalifa.
The accused confessed that Khalifa lured him with Rs 20,000 and asked him to send photographs and videos of army vehicles from India, and he complied. In return, he was also gifted a gold ring.
