By Abdul Basheer: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) IT wing has identified a fake website and lodged a complaint with the Tirumala 1 Town Police Station. Based on the complaint, the AP Forensic Cyber Cell has also plunged into action to investigate the fake website.
So far, cases have been registered against 40 fake websites and the new one is enlisted as the 41st under Cyber Crime.

The fake website was developed by the miscreants almost similar to TTD’s official website with negligible modifications.

DEVOTEES TO REMAIN VIGILANT
The fake website has been identified as https://tirupatibalaji-ap-gov.org/, while the official website URL is https://tirupatibalaji.ap.gov.in/.
TTD has issued an appeal to devotees to remain vigilant and avoid falling prey to fake websites. The devotees are requested to make note of the URL address of TTD official website and verify the website’s credentials before booking tickets online.

TTD has also advised that devotees can use the official TTD mobile app, TTDevasthanams, to book tickets securely.
