Ranbir Kapoor, who was last seen in Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar, was seen in an interview with Netflix wherein he opened about being a father to Raha, and also discussed his life journey, albeit in a quirky way. However, amidst his fun remarks, the actor ended up talking about the girl that Aditya Roy Kapur likes and that it starts with the letter A. His remark obviously added fuel to the ongoing rumours about a certain sparks flying between this Kapur boy and Ananya Pandey.

On the latest season of Koffee With Karan Season 7, Karan Johar had first broached the topic of Ananya Panday and Aditya Roy Kapur starting off conversations. Furthermore when they were seated together at the recently held Bollywood Hungama Style Icon Awards, the video went viral on social media, adding to the speculations. And now Ranbir Kapoor commenting on it seems to have fueled it further. Interviewer Aishwarya Mohanraj, in her ‘awkward’ show opened up about her 45 minutes wedding with Aditya Roy Kapur and Ranbir who was in shock to hear it, confronted his Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani co-star. Aditya too confirmed it saying further politely sharing a warm conversation with the duo.

After keeping the phone, Aishwarya quizzed Ranbir if she can be invited to his New Year’s Party along with Aditya Roy Kapur since now he has confirmed that the two indeed did get married for a few minutes. Adding that Aditya is a regular at his parties, Ranbir Kapoor commented, “I don’t know if he wants you to be around. He was just being polite with you Aish, come on! I know he likes a girl starting with the letter ‘A’.”

Aditya Roy Kapur and Ananya Panday have never addressed these rumours. Interestingly, the couple have also never featured on the big screen together.
