Speaking at the Karnataka Roundtable 2023, AICC Karnataka in-charge Randeep Surrjewala launched an attack on the BJP over corruption and said the party is sidelining the Lingayat community. 

“There is a fratricidal war happening inside the BJP. You have BL Santosh ji who is out to finish everyone else. You have Yediyurappa ji, who has been assigned to the dustbin of history,” he said, hitting out at the BJP. 

“Kannada pride is under attack. Nandini, which sustains 28 lakh farmers in the state, is under attack because Home Minister wants Amul and Nandini to merge. Why should children of the state not answer the CRPF exam in Kannada? Why should Kannada language be subjugated to the whims and fancies of a party sitting in power in Delhi with the Bommai government remaining a mute spectator?,” he said. 

Randeep Surjewala also said there is no difference of opinion between DK Shivakumar and Siddaramaiah.
