By Ashraf Wani: The People’s Anti Fascist Front (PAFF), a banned terror outfit, has threatened to carry out terror attacks in Jammu and Delhi over the government’s decision to allot flats to non-locals in Jammu and Kashmir.

On April 29, the Jammu and Kashmir Housing Board said it will allot 336 economically weaker section (EWS) and low income group (LIG) flats to non-locals under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) mission.

The PAFF, a proxy wing of Jaish-e-Mohammed, which claimed responsibility for the Poonch terror attack that killed five soldiers recently, issued the threat in a social media post over this decision.

The terror outfit in a statement said it won’t leave any stone unturned to “kick illegal settlers out”. The PAFF said Jammu will turn into a “battle ground” and its “fighters will not only engulf Jammu but the sparks will spread to Delhi too.”

Five soldiers were killed and one injured after the terrorists attacked a lone Army truck, which was carrying eatables for iftar to a nearby village, in the dense forest area of Bhata Dhurian last week and the vehicle caught fire. The soldiers were from a Rashtriya Rifles unit deployed for counter-terror operations.

Although PAFF claimed responsibility for the attack, there were reports suggesting that it was the handiwork of banned Lashker-e-Taiba group also.
