By Anupam Mishra, Suryagni Roy: Clashes erupted in West Bengal’s Kaliganj on Saturday after a minor girl was allegedly raped and murdered by unidentified miscreants. The incident took place on Friday in Uttar Dinajpur district and body of the victim was found by locals.

According to police, the girl, who is a resident of Gangua village of the district, went missing on Thursday evening after she went for her tuition. Her family was not able to trace her entire night, despite extensive searches by relatives and villagers.
