By India Today News Desk: Between tuning in to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ and continuing with the wedding ceremonies, a groom in Rajasthan’s Bhilwara opted for the first option.

It was the broadcast of the 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on Sunday. For the Rajasthan man, who had listened to all the previous episodes, the 100th episode was on his must-not-miss list. But for the man, the historic episode was being aired on the very day he was getting married.

In a surprising move, the man then placed a condition before all the wedding rituals. Rishabh Porwal, the groom, demanded to listen to Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s ‘Mann ki Baat’ before proceeding with the wedding ceremony.

The wedding was taking place at a private resort in Bhilwara when Rishabh made this demand in the middle of the wedding rituals. After his request, arrangements were made for LED screens, and the episode of ‘Mann ki Baat’ was played for all the guests present.

Rishabh stated that Prime Minister Modi’s guidance always inspired him, and he did not want to miss out on the 100th episode of ‘Mann ki Baat’. He said that he had not missed a single episode so far and always learned something from PM Modi’s address.

He said he did not want to miss the 100th episode and hence put forth the condition, adding that his family members and his bride, Anjali, were pleased with his decision.

The wedding ceremony resumed after the completion of the PM’s address.
